My new e-mail address is LQQK2552@gmail.com...I am also trying to adapt to Facebook, but finding it far less friendly, and "info-overloaded" for comfort. I will keep trying. Shared a fine Italian lunch off the Quad at the University and then visited a Farm Zoo (great ice cream), with my sister and niece. Great reminiscence-op. Your ears must have been burning. Warm memories of summers spent with dear Ed Schindler. Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible ... See you in September, tra la la ... Leo'58

E-mail: malcolm@fedragons.com 		Facebook has so much information that is available to the public that scammers are always grabbing the information to trick people. [See Lenn's entry below.]
I had someone copy by profile picture and create an account with my name (facebook allows multiple accounts with the same name because there could be multiple people with the same name). They then asked my friends to +add bogus me as a friend.
Once bogus me had a friend, they tried to scam them for money.
It doesn't help to change your password on Facebook. You could beef up security but that limits the use of Facebook.
First, change your profile picture, so your friends can distinguish you from bogus you.
Next, post a full explanation and ask everyone to not add bogus you as friend and to defriend bogus you if they already did it.
Third, you can view bogus you and look for friends. Email each of them and tell them to unfriend bogus you.
Forth, contact Facebook. It takes time, but they will eventually take down the bogus account.

E-mail: mlpk1996@gmail.com 		A note to FB users, I was contacted today by someone who claimed to be Ruthie Swindle. But I'm sue it was not her.
They talked about a free grant from the UN and it sounded like a request for money was coming so so I asked for which classes we had together They suddenly hung up. So be aware and if Ruthie reads this check your FB account.
