Friends of Michael King We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary on a river cruise in Europe. I met a lady from California who told me she graduated from SBHS in 1956. Her name is Sheila King Brown and her brother, Michael King graduated with us. Michael died in NYC in 1968?, he served in the military and was stationed in Frankfort, Germany. He attended several music schools, including Julliard and I believe Stanford. We shared many fond memories of our days at SBHS. You just never know when or where you may bump into a fellow Bull Doggie

Hi dear friends, I just read what Harvey wrote about Ed & it made me all teary. Harvey, spoken so beautifully from your heart, it was a wonderful tribute to one hell of a guy. I still see him dancing around the room with the cup on his head & that infectious smile on his face. What a wonderful night that was. I've had plenty of time to reminisce the last few days & we all have so many wonderful memories to cherish. I look forward to the next time we can share them & make new ones. Please keep me in your thoughts & prayers as I continue to heal from a really big back surgery. Today is day #8 & I'm seeing some progress but the pain is still extreme. I love you all & look forward to seeing you all again. Much love, Lita

Ed was my friend for 60 years. He was cheerful, animated, exuberant, boisterous, spirited, opinionated, and had a zest for life, especially deep sea fishing. His smartest decision was to transfer from UF to FSU to woo Carla, his loving wife, for more than 50 years. He was unique and his passing leaves a void. Harvey

I remember some of you who were in the band with me and our great leader Mr. Sheppard. Little did I know he was a fighter pilot in WW II. I'm happy most of you are still around. You have a great web page and tribute to your technical skills. As a note about Pembroke. I remember that it was a black neighborhood and only about 2 miles south from my home on Mckinley ST. in West Hollywood. Dark skin never bothered me back then because my best friend was Tom Mendoza(Class of 57). But what I remember most was the tornado that touched down in Pembroke about Nov. 1956. I still have a picture if anyone is interested. My wife and I now live in California. (65 miles north of LA in Mojave Desert city of Palmdale) If you have any spare rain water, please send it our way. 2013 was the driest year ever for most of California. Most of the big cities had only 2+ inches of rain for the whole year!!) Best of luck to you all and thanks again for a great web page. Paul Dennis
