Dear Friends, I have sad news. I just learned this morning from a good friend of Eugene's in Florida, that our dear friend and classmate, Eugene Aspy, passed away in early morning hours of May 2nd. He did not detail cause of death, though I knew Gene had not been feeling well for a while. But when I last spoke to Eugene, he said he was doing okay and was hopefully getting better. Eugene was like a brother and best friend to me. I will miss him sorely. He was a good, kind, funny man. One of a kind. I miss him already. But I know he would not want us to dwell in sadness over him. But to think and act positively and help care for others. He was a good human being and inspiration for us all. God love him. ️I hope you are all staying safe in this pandemic and able to enjoy fun times in spite of the many restrictions. I am looking forward to seeing you at our next reunion, if and when possible. Stay well! Love, Joanne (and Ralph)

Hi fellow Bulldogs, I live near Cookeville,TN and the tornadoes hit about 20 miles from my home. I was very fortunate as I had minimal damage. Most of the Tennessee fatalities were in in this area - sadly about 8 children. Thank you to my classmates who reached out to see if I was ok
